Ask your AI assistant about your SearchLight marketing data — in plain language.

Weft is a secure connector that links your SearchLight account to Claude or ChatGPT. Once connected, you can ask questions like "what was my book rate and closed ROAS last month?" or "which campaigns had the best return on spend?" and get answers straight from your own data.

Before you start

You'll need your SearchLight API key. In the SearchLight app, go to Settings → API and copy your key (it starts with sl_).

Add the connector

Use this MCP endpoint URL in both assistants:

Claude name it "Weft"

Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
Name it Weft, paste the URL above, choose OAuth.
On the authorize screen, paste your sl_ key and click Authorize.
Start a chat and ask about your marketing performance.

ChatGPT name it "Warp"

Settings → Connectors → Advanced → Developer mode (Plus/Pro/Business/Enterprise).
Create custom connector: name it Warp, paste the URL, choose OAuth.
On the authorize screen, paste your sl_ key and click Authorize.
Enable the connector in a chat and ask away.

Your data & security

Your key is encrypted and used only to fetch your data — it's never shown or shared.
Access is limited to approved accounts; each connection only ever sees its own SearchLight data.
To revoke access anytime: rotate or delete the key in SearchLight (Settings → API) — it stops working immediately, everywhere.

Disconnect

Remove the Weft (or Warp) connector in your assistant's connector settings, and — to be thorough — rotate your key in SearchLight. That fully severs the link.
